Olympic gold medalist skiers Jayla Stone and Rush Remington have been best friends for years. They've seen each other at their best and worst and have kept each other's secrets without fail. Only there's one secret Rush has kept close to his chest. After months of introspection, Rush realizes he's been filling his bed but not tending to his heart. He's changed his womanizing ways, and the only woman who can fill his heart has been right by his side all this time.

Years of intimate conversations and the sharing of hopes and dreams collide when Rush reveals his secret, and one toe-curling kiss changes everything between Rush and Jayla. They're no match for the passion that kiss ignites, or the pull of true love. But being Rush's best friend means knowing all about his revolving bedroom door--and Jayla has a secret of her own that could jeopardize her career and her relationship with Rush. Even their love may not be enough to overcome Rush's past or secure Jayla's future.

Verdict

I want to say a massive thank you to Sharon at Fiction Addiction for letting me be part of this wonderful book of Melissa Foster's fabulous book series.
First of, I love the cover so much, looks very sexual and you just know it's a book that going to be full of chemistry between two characters.

In Slope of Love we meet Olympic gold medalist skiers Jayla Stone and Rush Remington, they have been best friends for years.Seen each other at their best and their worst, Rush has kept one secret close to himself, a womanizer but now he realised what he really wants and the only woman who can fill his heart...Will he succeed?

I have loved every single book in this series, Slope of Love was just as amazing, You easily get drawn into the chapters and you easily fall in love with the characters.
As soon as I was into the first couple of chapters, I knew i was going to love reading about Rush and Jayla, Reading about their chemistry and their friendship was so cute and lovely.

Jayla Stone is a such a sweet girl but can also be stubborn in which doesn't help in her favour at times, but also knows shes got a great friendship/relationship with Rush.
Rush Remington is a hunky skier, who used to be a womanizer but has finally changed his ways and is out to prove it to one lovely lady in his life. He comes across as so sweet and caring, and will do anything for the woman that he loves.

I don't want to give to much away about Slope of Love as you need to curl up and read it for yourself. It's one of those books that your going to enjoy this so much, you will laugh, you may cry but you will also fall in love.

Slope of Love can be read on its own but if you want to enjoy the characters more and read more like this book then its great to read the rest of the series, in which il list the series below.

A Fantastic book in the series once again, I fell in love with Rush's & Jayla's relationship, i cried but also laughed hell of a lot too.

Ellie Parker is a master at building walls around her heart. In the twenty-five years she’s been alive, Dex Remington has been the only person who has always believed in her and been there for her. But four years earlier she came to Dex seeking comfort, and then disappeared like a thief in the night, leaving him a broken man.

Dex Remington is one of the top PC game developers in the U.S. He’s handsome, smart, and numb. So damn numb that he’s not sure he’ll ever find a reason to feel again.

A chance encounter sparks intense desires in Ellie and Dex. Desires that make her want to run—and make him want to feel. A combination of lust and fear leads these young lovers down a dangerous path. Is it possible to cross a burned bridge or are they destined to be apart forever?

Verdict
This is a new series of characters but also part of the Love in Bloom series by the lovely Melissa Foster, If you haven't read Sisters in bloom series and also Lovers in heart series with hunky men, I'd defo go grab them right away!

I am a huge fan of the Love In Bloom series when I found out Melissa was doing a fresh set of characters or hunky men should I say, I was jumping for joy hehe!
Game of Love starts with the sexy Dex Remington one of the top PC game developers in the U.S , he is very handsome, smart and numb.
Ellie Parker is 25 years old, Dex is the only person who has always believer in her and always been there. There is something between Ellie and Dex but can Ellie get over her past and can Dex have his heart healed again..

This is a great story, I loved every minute of it. Who wouldn't love a hunky man eh?
I loved the closeness between Dex and Ellie already and I knew they could pull through.
Yes there is plenty of sex scenes in this, but it wouldn't be right for a book by Melissa Foster not to have any hehe!
Dex and Ellie are clearly made for each other and even though Ellie has tendency to run away from problems and leave Dex heartbroken, She always comes back to him and they work through it.

A beautiful read in which I am going to carry on reading the rest of the series because the great thing with Melissa's books is that you get snippets of each of the other Remington children before you get their full story.
Game of Love is a story about Love, Heartbreak, Family's coming together & beautiful.

Fiction Addiction Book Tour: Book Review: Where Petals Fall by Melissa Foster

Title: Where Petals Fall

Author: Melissa Foster
Publisher: World Literary Press
Publication Date: 15th November 2013

BlurbOn the surface Junie Olson’s life looks idyllic, from her handsome husband and beautiful daughter to her successful business, the bakery she always dreamed of opening. But in the past few months her world has slowly unraveled. Her precocious child is withdrawing, showing unexplainable signs of emotional regression, a condition that frays the bonds of Junie’s once impenetrable marriage. When her father dies suddenly of a heart attack, Junie packs up her daughter and goes home to help her mother. Her homecoming stirs up memories of the nightmare she thought she had put behind her, the disappearance of her childhood friend, Ellen. Haunted by recurring memories of what happened on that fateful day, Junie must gather the courage to revisit her past and untangle the secrets surrounding her missing friend, and the trauma that has caused her little girl to climb back into herself. As the pieces come together on the event that shook her small town, and at the risk of losing everyone she loves, Junie will question everything she thought she could rely on and everyone she thought she knew.

Verdict
I am a big fan of Melissa Foster's books but Where Petals Fall is a different style of book that im used to reading by Melissa however it was still a good read.

Junie Olson looks like she has the perfect life with her handsome husband,a beautiful daughter and a very successful bakery business. But slowly her life is unraveling in the past few months. When her father suddenly dies of a heart attack, Junie packs up with her daughter and moves in with her mother, her homecoming stirs up memories of the nightmare she thought she had put behind her, the disappearance of her childhood best friend Ellen. When things start to haunt Junie's memories, she must have the courage to revisit the past and try and piece the past together and find out what really happened to her friend.

The first couple of chapters it starts off a bit slow but then when Junie starts to revisit the past, it gets better but with plenty of emotion.
Junie's daughter Sarah isn't talking and is not sleeping well at night either wetting the bed or climbing into her mum and dad's bed, but Brian, Junie's husband thinks she is doing it on purpose but something must obviously be upsetting Sarah or be playing on her mind that she doesn't want to talk.
The characters great in this, I wasn't sure about Brian, thought he came across a bit shifty and that he didn't really care about Junie & Sarah anymore. Ruth Junie's mother, However even after losing her husband gave Junie plenty of strength and always seemed to be there to help Junie.

Where Petals Fall is a story full of suspense, emotion and full of secrets. Just when you think you know the ending, Foster completely throws you and it ends up being totally different to what you predicted.
For big fans of suspense and secret books & fans of Melissa Fosters books are going to love this.
I'd like to thank Melissa & Sharon Goodwin( Fiction Addiction Book Tours) for letting me take part in this blog tour.

Fiction Addiction Book Tour Review: Destined For Love(The Bradens #2) By Melissa Foster

Title: Destined For Love

Author: Melissa Foster
Publisher: World Literary Press
Publication Date: 28th November 2013

Blurb

Rex Braden is wealthy, hard working, and fiercely loyal. Sweat at his brow, he works the family ranch by day, then kicks back at night with part time lovers who require nothing more than his physical presence a few times each week. But that was before. Before Jade Johnson, the daughter of the man his father has been feuding with for over forty years, moves back into town.

After ditching a horrific relationship—and her veterinary practice in the process—Jade Johnson returns to the safety of her small hometown and finally finds her footing. That is...until her horse is injured and Rex Braden comes to her rescue. The last thing she needs is a bull-headed, too-handsome-for-his-own-good Braden complicating her life.

Despite the angry family history, sparks fly between Rex and Jade, and attitudes follow. Fifteen years of stifled, forbidden love stirs a surge of passion too strong for either to deny—and the rebel in each of them rears its powerful head. Loyalties are tested, and relationships are strained. Rex and Jade are about to find out if true love really can conquer all.

Verdict

What a beautiful and moving story between Rex Braden and Jade Johnson!
It was amazing and I loved reading every minute of this book! It is slow pacing at the beginning but then soon speeds up when we get to the better parts between Rex and Jade! I just loved reading the chemistry they had and how their lives being torn as their fathers fell out really badly and have never spoken since, It kind of reminded me of Romeo & Juliet, the Montague's and the Capulet's. The whole both side's not allowed to talk or go on each other's land's but it is so hard when Romeo(Rex) and Juliet(Jade) so fall deeply in love with each other that they just don't know how to be together in public and for their families not to be angry.

The is some very saucy scenes between Rex and Jade which could make you blush if when reading in public hehe! But I just love the way the characters are so connected all the way through and are obviously wanting to do everything they can to be together.
I Loved this whole "dance of two lovers" and the story with the necklaces with charms of a man and a woman.. I thought that was ever so cute!

Destined for love is just a great book that is the second book in the Braden's series but is over all the 5th book in the love in bloom series! I cannot wait to read the rest of these books as I feel that they are all going to be just fab and I will be recommending them to everybody! (I am now off to start the next book in the series I just cannot wait to read more on these Braden lads ;) wit woo) hehe!

I want to thank Sharon Goodwin for letting me part of the Fiction Addiction Book Tour for Destined For Love and I want to thank Melissa Hill for being a fab author and writing such a great new series!

SISTERS IN BLOOM
Kaylie Snow has always been the fun, flirty, pretty sister. Now, her burgeoning baby bump, hormone infused emotions, and faltering singing career are sending her into an unexpected identity crisis. Chaz Crew has everything he’s ever wanted: a lovely fiancé, a baby on the way, and soon, the film festival he owns will host its biggest event ever. When he’s called away to woo the festival’s largest sponsor—and the lover he’s never admitted to having—secrets from his past turn his new life upside down.

With her baby shower around the corner, and her fiancé’s big event looming, the pressure is on for Kaylie to pull herself together—and for Chaz to right his wrongs. In a few short weeks, the couple who had it all figured out will learn things about life and love that may change their minds—and their hearts.

SISTERS IN BLOOM is a testament to the bond of sisters, the strength of women, and the pains and delights that accompany motherhood. A book for every mother, sister, and daughter, SISTERS IN BLOOM will resonate with readers who love to explore family dramas.

Verdict
didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it  - Beautiful & One series your not going to forget in a hurry! 4 Star Rating.

What an utterly beautiful read :) Once again I enjoyed reading this new series by Melissa Foster.
Book 2 is all about Kaylie Snow and her relationship with Chaz Crew and the start of their very own family tehe. Kaylie is pregnant and a singer too.
Kaylie's hormones are all over the place while being pregnant and she doesn't half take it out on her lovely fiance Chaz but the lovely Chaz Crew sticks by his lovely blooming Fiance and has everything he's ever wanted.
But while sorting the film festival he owns, a lover in the past comes back to haunt him and cause chaos in his life.
I loved reading this so much, It was great to catch up with Danica & Blake as well but was nice this time to read about Kaylie and Chaz and what goes on in their lives, Their ups and downs relationship makes you smile but also makes you want to scream at them for being so silly and Kaylie always doubting things in their relationship but happy when she decides to sort things out :) I was worried at times that maybe Kaylie wouldn't get her happy ending with Chaz but I'm glad Kaylie had her sister to talk to when she needed someone the most before she messed things up.

I don't want to give too much away with the story line as I feel you should read it yourself and enjoy the story yourself just as much as I did as they are brilliant books to read and you will giggle but you will also grab a tissue as you may shed a tear.
I did love reading and following Kaylie while she was pregnant and blooming very lovely, It was very adorable how her baby shower was planned and To see Kaylie & Danica come closer again as sisters was cute too. Reading about babies made me very broody for sure hehe.

I love Melissa Foster's books and she has written a fair few of different story lines but I have always enjoyed them and I will forever read them again in the future.
Thank You Melissa for giving me the chance to be part of your blog tour and enjoyed reading your books again.
Also a big Thank You to Sharon Goodwin of Fiction Addiction Book Tours for giving me the chance to be part of another fabulous book tour.

Danica Snow has always been the smart, practical, and appropriate sister. As a therapist, she prides herself on making reasonable, conservative choices, even if a bit boring, and as part of the Big Sister Program, she has little time for anything more in her life.

Blake Carter is a player. He never gets bored of conquering women, and with his sexy good looks and successful lifestyle, he has no trouble finding willing participants. When his friend and business partner dies in a tragic accident, he suddenly, desperately, wants to change his ways. The problem is, he doesn’t know how to stop doing what he does best.

When Blake walks into Danica’s office, the attraction between them is white hot, but Danica isn't the type to give into the heat and risk her career. Danica’s desire sets her on a path of self-discovery, where she begins to question every decision she’s ever made. Just this once, Danica wants to indulge in the pleasures of life she’s been so willingly ignoring, but with her Little Sister in turmoil and her biological sister’s promiscuousness weighing heavily on her heart, she isn’t sure it’s the right time to set her desires free.

Verdict

I Thank Melissa Foster for giving me the chance to read & review this fab new series by herself. I am a big fan of Melissa's books as I have taken part in a few book tours of her books with Fiction Addiction Book Tours.
I was given the pleasure of being part of Sisters In Love Fiction Addiction's Book Tour organised by Sharon Goodwin and I am grateful to be given the chance.

In Sisters In Love we meet Danica Snow a therapist, big sister to Kaylie and always the smart one out of the two of them. Danica takes part in a Big Sister Program who she met Michelle and looks out for her all the time.
When Danica meets a handsome fella in a coffee shop with the name Blake Carter...Danica's life isn't going to be the same again and she ain't ever going to forget about him...

This is a fantastic read where we follow the Snow sisters but book one is mainly about Danica Snow and what she does for her living and everything.
I loved reading this book because it is an easy read and you soon love the characters and get to know Danica and her insecurities and her not being able to resist hunky Blake Carter.
Blake Carter is a ladies man for sure and has plenty of one night stands but when his best friend and business partner Dave dies in a ski accident, things shake Blake to realty and that he cannot carry on what he is doing and when he meets Danica in the coffee shop but not in a nice way he soon realises he only wants to spend the rest of his life with that certain lady...but is he going to win?

Melissa Foster did a fantastic job of writing this book and I think anybody can enjoy this new series as they are easy reads with plenty of laughs and sad moments but you just cannot put the books down.
Thank you Melissa for letting me part of the Book Tour and Thank you Sharon Goodwin for letting me part of Fiction Addiction Book Tours.

Fiction Addiction Book Tour: Have No Shame By Melissa Foster

Title: Have No Shame
Author: Melissa Foster
Publisher: Createspace
Publication Date: April 2013

The racially-charged prejudice of the deep south forces eighteen-year-old Alison Tillman to confront societal norms--and her own beliefs- when she discovers the body of a hate crime victim, and the specter of forbidden love turns her safe, comfortable world upside down.
Alison has called Forrest Town, Arkansas home for the past eighteen years. Her mother's Blue Bonnet meetings, her father toiling night and day on the family farm, and the division of life between the whites and the blacks are all Alison knows. The winter of 1967, just a few months before marrying her high school sweetheart, Alison finds the body of a black man floating in the river, and she begins to view her existence with new perspective. The oppression and hate of the south, the ugliness she once was able to avert her eyes from, now demands her attention.
When a secretive friendship with a young black man takes an unexpected romantic turn, Alison is forced to choose between her predetermined future, and the dangerous path that her heart yearns for.

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it

I have the pleasure of thanking Sharon Goodwin for letting me take part in this book tour and Melissa Foster for being a superb author giving me the pleasure of reading and reviewing this book. I enjoyed this book very much, I was very engrossed in the story all the way through.

We start off with meeting Alison an 18 year old girl who lives with her mum and dad on a farm with her brother Jake and her sister Maggie living in New York, Alison is due to marry her child hood sweetheart Jimmy Lee but one day when Alison finds a black man's body in a river, things start to look different for Alison and she starts to hate racism and with her secret friendship with a black man called Jackson and the encouragement from her sister Maggie, she tries to stop racism...but always with problems on the way.

Now in some parts of America, it has very racial states and separate streets for whites and blacks whereas In England where I have lived for 23 years of my life, I grew up with Asians & Blacks in my schools and even was friends with some too, to me as I was growing up that we were all the treated the same and nobody ever singled out a coloured person.  I did enjoy reading this book because I loved following the story from Alison's point of view but I just wanted to scream at some parts with the racism because I detest it very much, because in my eyes we are all the same.

Have No Shame is certainly a read that can have you hooked in a moment, I know I was. I felt at times very sorry for Alison and could even relate to her. I don't want to give too much away about the story because I feel it is one you should read and decide yourself. I did enjoy the fact Melissa on Kindle gives readers chance to either read the book with southern twang or without, and I chose without because I didn't think I would understand the story otherwise.

I feel with Have No Shame you can warm up to the characters quite quickly, my two favourites would be Alison & Maggie, Maggie came across as a strong minded lady when she moved to New York and gave Alison the insight she needed to the things that was happening in the town she lived. I wasn't a huge fan of Jimmy Lee and his family, horrible is all I got to say!

Have No Shame is a great read with an insight to see what it was really like in America in the 1960's and will  have you hooked too.

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it

I want to say many thanks to Sharon Goodwin and Melissa Foster for letting me part of this book tour, I'll be honest I have never heard of Melissa Foster or even read of her books so this was a first book by a new author to me, I was a bit worried incase I didn't like but however I was completely wrong, It was amazing, had my pulse racing and always checking my back while reading.

In this book we meet Kara Knight who has recently just divorced with her husband Daryl as he cheated on her with a girl called Kelly, Kara is mending her broken heart and is hoping to start a fresh start on her future when her job at the plant soon comes to a scary abduction by a brother she cannot remember, Roland acting all psycho keeps repeating to himself "Born together Die Together" having planned out for months and been watching Kara, he knows exactly how they are both going to die and also at what time...Can Kara's Mum Mimi help find Kara and stop this nightmare from upsetting Kara and bringing so many things from the past to light...

Melissa Foster is a cracking writer who can certainly write great thriller/suspense books which leave you feeling gripped and wanting to finish the book always trying to predict what the ending will be. I was certainly hooked from the first chapter and the chapters never slowed down, so much action happening and very pulse pounding for sure.

Roland Greer certainly gave me the creeps while I was reading this book, nothing fearing him from killing so many people in his path to get to his long lost sister Kara or Marissa to him as he calls her. He was a great baddy though and I could never see the ending happening with him, the bit at the end of the book..did make me wonder, is there going to be another book with Roland in?

If you a huge fan of Thriller/Suspense books with plenty of action package, Pulse pounding and very gripping then you are going to love Traces Of Kara. A must read I say.

Now Here's your chance to win your very own copy of Traces Of Kara.
