Catch Me If You Cannes Part 4 by Lisa Dickenson Blog Tour

Today is the last day of Catch Me If You Cannes Blog Tour, yes feeling quite sad because I've enjoyed being part of this blog tour, also because I loved reading Catch Me If You Cannes so much.

If you think Part 3 of Catch Me If You Cannes had plenty of drama then you haven't read Part 4 yet!
Just one week ago, Jess was safely tucked away in her quiet seaside home, running her cafe and not really doing much of anything. So what on earth has happened between then and now that has her stealing a superyacht from Cannes marina?

Leo. Leo happened.

Jess doesn't want to believe what everybody is saying about him. He's her Leo, with his lazy smile, soft kisses and firm hugs, and she knows he's a good man. But she can't deny that something isn't quite right so she just needs some time to figure things out. All Jess did was fall in love with a boy who liked Nutella. How has it come to this?

Well everything just gets even more complicated for Jess in the last part of Catch Me If You Cannes. She is out to prove Leo isn't a drug lord which Bryony has said he is, but things just get ever so confusing and even more drama happens in Jess' life. . . I don't want to say much more because I just think you should buy this and read for yourself!

You will most certainly laugh (be careful of reading in public) and will be hoping Jess gets her happily ever after which is what you want in any chick lit book at the end! The whole series is just pure fantastic with plenty of laughs throughout!

Just go buy this fab book right away!
Want even better news? The complete novel will be out in Paperback on 23rd June 2016! woop woop!!

Thank You Lisa and Clara at Little Brown for letting me part of this amazing blog tour! I've enjoyed the book ever so much! When's the next book?
You Fantastic Lady!

I reward Catch Me If You Cannes 5 fantastic, amazing, sizzling hot shimmering stars.

Catch Me If You Cannes Part 2 & Part 3 by Lisa Dickenson

Part 2 Blurb

Jess had been feeling on top of the world - she'd had the best night out with Bryony, making lots of fabulous new friends, and she'd MET A BOY! Now, all of a sudden, her carefully constructed (if slightly exaggerated) facade is about to come tumbling down. She's had a taste of how the other half live and she's not ready to give it up just yet - especially if it means also giving up Leo. But how long can Jess and Bryony continue pulling the wool over everyone's eyes before they're in too deep?

Part 3 Blurb
Things could not be going better between Jess and Leo. Every moment they spend together is lovely and sunkissed and full of anticipation. Jess hasn't felt like this in a very long time and she doesn't want it to end. Sure, Leo is a bit vague about certain areas of his life but that doesn't mean anything . . .

Suddenly Jess's perfect holiday romance isn't looking so great and she has a choice to make - should she ignore what Bryony is telling her and keep living the dream, or should she run the risk of losing Leo in order to prove her friend wrong?

My Review

I am so happy to be part of Catch Me If You Cannes Blog Tour! Today I am reviewing Part 2 & Part 3 of the book! A huge thank you to Clara at Little Brown for asking me to part of Lisa's new fantastic book.

I have loved every book by Lisa and she is just getting better and better! Lisa definitely knows how to write the perfect character with plenty of things going on that is going to make you laugh lots!

So whats happening ? well Jess has met a boy..yes a gorgeous at that, made lots of new friends and has felt how the other life lives now she may have to go back to her normal self but will she want to?
Jess and Leo are getting on like a house on fire, you could say she has never felt like this before and doesn't want this holiday to stop...but then her best friend Bryony drops a bombshell and Jess doesn't quite know whether to believe her or try and prove her Best Friend wrong about Leo?

Jess is such a funny character, she is just plain jane but as soon as she came to Cannes with her best friend Bryony and has made lots of new friends who like to party, spend lots of money and are in the crowds with celebrities.  She gets her self in some disastrous scenario's but gives you plenty of giggles! Jess & Leo are so cute together! Their love for Nutella & Crepes is so cute and throughout the book I'm rooting for them to get together!

I cannot fault Catch me If You Cannes at all, It is a perfect summer read and I couldn't put it down!
If you want a book to make you giggle throughout, then your at the right place! Catch Me If You Cannes has plenty of drama, crazy moments, a bit of romance and a dream life anybody would be jelous of Jess & Bryony!

I reward Catch Me If You Cannes 5 fantastic, amazing, sizzling hot shimmering stars.
Lisa You are fantastic!!
Catch Part 4 next Friday!

Always The Bridesmaid Blog Tour: Author Interview with Lindsey Kelk

I am so happy to be part of Lindsey Kelk's new novel Always The Bridesmaid Blog Tour today! I had the pleasure of having Lindsey stop by for a short interview. Here is the interview.

Q) Hi Lindsey, "Always The Bridesmaid" came out 7th May, Can you tell us a little bit about it?

Yes! Always the Bridesmaid is about Maddie, an assistant events organiser who finds out at the beginning of the book, that one of her best friends is getting married and that the other is getting divorced. Trying to play peacemaker between the two of them while helping to plan Lauren a wedding and counsel Sarah through her break up, she’s still hung up on her ex and miserable in her job.

Even though Maddie is a bridesmaid in the book, it not really a story about that, it’s about allowing yourself to be pushed into a bridesmaid position in your life. Maddie is so used to coming second -  with her friends, her family, her career – that she doesn’t even realise there’s another way to live. This is the story of how that all changes.

Q) Have you ever been a bridesmaid?

I have, once as a little girl and twice as a grown up. I don’t think I was very good at it either time. I definitely cried on all three occasions but only had to be carried out to bed once. I cannot confirm that was when I was a little girl.

Q) What inspired you to write this story and why?

My life, the lives of my friends, stories I heard from other people. I love looking at the things that effect our day to day lives, issues that are bigger than ourselves, and starting my story there. About a Girl was about the pressure on people to make huge important choices when they’re very young and the fear that comes with making the wrong one, I Heart Christmas was about ‘having it all’ and whether or not that’s a fantasy concept, What a Girl wants was about making choices when you have no idea of the outcome. I take an idea and build a world around it. Or at least, that’s the plan.

Q) Favourite Chick-lit film and why?

I basically love everything that’s ever been committed to celluloid so it’s hard to choose a favourite. I enjoyed them all, Bridget Jones, Devil Wears Prada, even Shopaholic – it gets a bad rap but I think Isla Fisher and High Dancy are lovely in it. But then Hugh Dancy is lovely in everything.

Q) Are you a fan of weddings?

Ehh, it’s such a broad brush. Sometimes they’re wonderful and sometimes they’re painfully terrible, I’ve been to both ends of the spectrum. I love the idea of a wedding but I’m also very cynical about the idea of marriage in general and the thought of spending all that money on one day which ultimately might not mean anything really causes me pain. But if anyone asks, yes! I love weddings! They’re wonderful and not an extortionate obligation at all!

Q) Have you any writing tips to anybody who is wanting to start writing?

Just write! It’s really the only tip you need. If you desperately want another, read. The more you read, the better your writing will become and the more you write, the easier it will be. That’s really all you need to know. To be a writer, you have to write.

Q) Describe Always the Bridesmaid in 5 words...

Stunning masterpiece of epic proportions OR A funny, thoughtful, sweary story

Thank you Lindsey for stopping by!

Catch Me If You Cannes Part 1 by Lisa Dickenson Blog Tour

Jess has decided it's time to get out of her comfort zone and live a little. So when her best friend Bryony, a journalist on a gossip magazine, is sent to cover the Cannes Film Festival, Jess decides to seize the day and go along for the ride. Two weeks of glitz, glamour and exclusive entry into celeb-filled parties is just the kind of adventure Jess needs.

Reality soon bites though when Jess and Bryony find they're staying in a dingy hotel far away from all the action and Bryony's expenses budget barely covers a glass of local wine. Undeterred, the two women are determined to live like the elite and enjoy one fancy night out to begin their holiday. So what if they have to tell a few white lies along the way? It's just this once. No harm done . . . right?

I am part of the blog tour for Lisa's new novel Catch me if you Cannes and I want to thank Clara at Little Brown for asking me to part of this tour. I am such a fan of Lisa Dickenson's books and this didn't disappoint either!

I loved this so much!  Catch Me If You Cannes will have you giggling all the way through! Let's just say Part 1 of CMIYC just gets started and Jess and Bryony are already getting in trouble when they arrive!

Catch Me If You Cannes is a perfect book to take on your summer holidays but make sure you wear a huge hat to cover your face from all the giggles and deserves fantastic 5 star rating!

Lifestyle: Mini Break to London; Travelling,Cinderella Movie && Shopping!

Hi Everyone! I wanted to do a different blog post today as I've recently just come back from a mini break to London which I loved so much and I wanted to share with you all some of the things I did while I was there.

I travelled down from Preston on Sunday 29th March at 10.58am first Class with my lovely friend Zoe and Sister Lois.
The train journey down was fantastic, no delays, peaceful and I read some of my current book A Mother's Story by Amanda Prowse.

We arrived at London Euston at 1.22pm, we was all eager to get to the hotel and start sight seeing. The Weather wasn't that brilliant so we decided to go shopping and do sight seeing the next day.
We headed off to the underground, me and my sister bought Oyster cards for the first time which I had been toying whether to use one weeks before we came down. We got off at Oxford Circus and I couldn't wait to shop.
We all agreed what shops we wanted to go in.
Disney Shop and Primark were a must!

We were like big kids in Disney Shop! The Downstairs was just all for the new Cinderella film and they had even put a Golden Carriage there too which you could have your picture taken.

After being all shopped out, we had booked tickets to see the new Cinderella film at Odeon at Leicester Square which all 3 of us were very excited to see. We had Tea at TGI Friday's which was a new experience for me as I had never been! Food was fantastic!

The new Cinderella Movie is amazing! I would definitely recommend going watching it! Frozen fever mini clip was showed before the film which was great too!
After a busy day of Travelling, Shopping and Seeing a movie we headed back to our hotel.

Keep an eye out for my next blog post!

Book Review: Cartel by Lili St. Germain

Title: Cartel
Author: Lili St. Germain
Publisher: Harpercollins
Date Published: 12th February 2015

Blurb
How much is a life worth? I grew up in Colombia, the daughter of a wealthy drug lord.
I lived a life of extravagance, until one day a drug run went horribly wrong and everything came crashing down around us. I was given away.
A payment for a debt.
The Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club became my new owners, and I did everything I could to survive.
But falling in love with the man who owned me wasn't part of the plan ..

My Review
Thank you to Harpercollins for sending me a copy of Cartel in exchange for an honest review.

I have never read or heard of any books by Lili St. Germain before but I was intrigued to read because of the blurb.

Wow this book blew my mind! I was hooked after reading the first couple of chapters! Everything seemed to happen all of a sudden which is a good thing because you quickly get sucked into the story.

Cartel is about Mariana who's dad is a wealthy drug lord until he messes up and costs his boss a lot of trouble, no drugs and no money to pay back. Everything comes crashing down and Mariana is given away, a payment for a debt.
Emilio is the big boss, he is not happy and wants his money, however his son Dornan Ross in charge of Gypsy Brothers Motorcyle Club becomes Mariana's new owner.. She didn't plan to fall in love with him though...

This book is amazing! I will admit I was creeped out with the violence, it was too much at times but I just couldn't put the book down. I felt really sorry for Mariana and by being owned by Dornan was scary although you could tell he was softening and was falling in love with her although he had to put a front up to his dad as he would kill her if knew the truth between them...

I cannot wait to read the next books in the series! The Cartel Trilogy is a prequel series.
I would highly recommend giving this book a go as it's something a little different to your normal erotic novel it is written so brilliantly.

Cartel is intriguing, not your typical erotic novel,a perfect bad boy to fall in love with and so amazing!!

Book Review: The Jackdaw by Luke Delaney

Title: The Jackdaw

Author: Luke Delaney
Publisher: Hapercollins
Publication Date: 12th March 2015

My Verdict
Yes DI Sean Corrigan is back in this fourth book by Luke Delaney! I am such a fan of Delaney's work. I was excited when I was sent a copy of The Jackdaw to read in exchange for a review from the publishers.

Wealthy Londoners are being abducted by one lone vigilante who is putting their fate in the hands of his viewers on the internet. He films the victims live online bound to a chair in a white room.. The vigilante explains their crimes of greed and why they should be punished while thousands watch and make up the jury. Once everyone votes the man who calls himself 'The Jackdaw' is the judge and executioner.
Di Sean Corrigan and his team need to work quick and fast to catch this vigilante before more people are killed...

Luke Delaney is definitely on the same par with Mark Billingham's books, Although Delaney is slowly becoming more my favourite crime/thriller author!
The Jackdaw made me feel very creeped and I always play in my mind that these could easily happen in real life. From the first chapter I knew I was going to enjoy another book by Luke Delaney.

It was great to catch up with Di Sean Corrigan although with this case he feels he can't get into the mind of the killer like he has done with his past cases..he has this thing where he gets deep into the case and in his mind becomes like the killer to try and understand the killer and get one step ahead, this book however Sean seems to struggle but the mystery and suspense keeps you on the edge throughout the book, I did not see the ending coming at all! Although the last chapter I felt there was something missing......which makes me eager for the next installment now!

Luke Delaney's style of writing is great because with his experience of being in the Metropolitan Police and CID dealing with high level crimes and investigated murder cases makes his books so good with plenty of detail and definitely knows how to get his readers hooked.

Delaney has once again written a superb crime book with plenty to keep you hooked all the way through and deserves 5 star rating!
Don't wait around but buy this book now!

Hero by Samantha Young Blog Tour

Today I am part of the lovely Samantha Young's new book Hero's blog tour! Most of you will already know how much I really like Samantha's books so much and I am always highly recommending!
When the lovely Clara at Piatkus asked if I would love to be part of the tour I couldn't wait!

Hero is all about Alexa Holland and Caine Carraway. Alexa's father was her hero until she finds something shocking that her and her mum weren't his only family, So Alexa has tried to turn her life around but when she meets a man who's as damaged by her fathers mistakes, she must help him!
Caine Carraway doesn't want anything to do with Alexa's efforts to redemption but its not so easy to push her away. He will do anything in his power to get her to walk away and leave him for good by ignoring her, being rude to her..however that just brings them together and they start an intense and explosive affair!

Wow! where can I start with Hero? I loved every freaking minute of it! It was pure intense every chapter, I really wanted to dislike Caine but my god he just sounds so gorgeous but obnoxious too which can make any girl weak at the knees!
I got frustrated at times as I just wanted to punch Caine for the way he was treating Alexa but I was also rooting for them to get together! You can tell deep down Caine is bit of a softy but is just so hard faced.

The one that was different with Hero to the other books sam has written On Dublin Street is this is set in Boston,America instead of Edinburgh like ODS! But the different scenery doesn't make this book anymore fantastic than it already can be!

Samantha knows how to write such amazing books and have her readers hooked by the first couple of pages! I know when I pick one of Samantha's books that I'm going to be engrossed so much for the next couple of hours. I recommend reading Hero and also Sam's other books too!

I really have to award Hero my rare Gold star for being so amazing, full of rawness, passion and is most definitely worth 5star++
Pick up Hero right now, You are missing out!
