I have been waiting sooo long for this to come out! Iv been so eager excited for months when Belinda and her travel club team announced they were publishing a collection of short stories with lots of ever so lovely authors and some competition winners too!

I just loved every single story, you travel from Australia, Italy, Greece, Barcelona, Ibiza..Everywhere. Plenty of places you can visit without even being there because you can just picture yourself there while reading the stories. The best thing about these stories is you can read and stop when you feel like it and not need worry that your lost in a chapter and have to start again.

All of the stories to me were written beautifully and It was so hard for me to choose which story I loved the most because To be honest they are very loved by me! I enjoyed travelling from different countries and sight seeing in my mind while reading and following each character.

It is one hell of a super short stories collection perfect for this summer!! A must read for sure! Belinda Jones & her team are a pure gems for creating the ideas for all of this and making it fabulous as they certainly have.

Book Review: Baby Be Mine(Johnny Be Good#2) by Paige Toon

Title: Baby Be Mine
Author: Paige Toon
Publisher: Simon & Schuster UK
Publication Date: July 2011

'He's not mine, is he?' That's the question I fear the most. You see, I have a secret. My son is not fathered by my boyfriend, but by one of the most famous people that ever lived. And he doesn't even know it.

One-time celebrity personal assistant to wild boy of rock Johnny Jefferson, Meg Stiles is now settled and living in the south of France with her doting boyfriend Christian and son Barney. But they're living a lie - a lie that will turn their lives upside down and inside out. Because Meg's son doesn't look like Christian, he looks like his rock star father and, sooner or later, the world is going to realize ...

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it

The anticipating sequel to Johnny Be Good and Boy this is amazing! For huge fans of Paige Toon's book who loved Johnny Be Good were automatically going to love Baby Be Mine for sure. I had literally just finished Johnny be good and Started Baby be mine straight away and I was hooked by the first couple of chapters.

So we have already Meg Stiles who was celebrity personal assistant to rocker boy Johnny Jefferson but is now settled and living in France with her loving boyfriend Christian (Best friend to Jefferson) and son Barney, But Meg is living a huge guilty lie that could ruin everything perfect in their lives....The shock is that Barney is actually the rock star Johnny Jefferson's baby really not Christian's...what will happen?\

Well this was an explosive sequel, I adored every single minute of it, I was on the edge of my seat reading wondering what was going to happen with Meg, Johnny, Christian & Barney. The was plenty of action/drama going on in this book..especially when Johnny finds out tehe, well that was a bombshell that you knew was going to happen in the book..but was just a question of when!?!

I don't want to say anymore of the storyline because I feel readers should read for themselves, just that is an explosive read that you won't want to miss!

For anyone who hasn't read any of Paige Toon's books before, you must start doing now! Because you are never going to be disappointed with her books, they are always superb and have plenty of emotion & stay in your mind for years to come.

Book Review: Johnny Be Good by Paige Toon

Title: Johnny Be Good
Author: Paige Toon
Publisher: Simon & Schuster UK
Publication Date: October 2008
If your boss was the hottest rock star on the planet, would you mix business with pleasure?

I'm Meg Stiles. This is my leaving party. And that song we're making a mockery of? That's written by one of the biggest rock stars in the world. And I'm moving in with him tomorrow.
Seriously! I am not even joking. Well, maybe I'm misleading you a little bit. You see, I haven't actually met him yet...
No, I'm not a stalker. I'm his new PA. His Personal Assistant. And I am off to La-La Land. Los Angeles. The City of Angels—whatever you want to call it—and I can't bloody believe it!
Celebrity PA to wild boy of rock Johnny Jefferson, Meg's glam new life in sun-drenched LA is a whirlwind of showbiz parties and backstage passes. Cool, calm Christian, in town to write his famous friend's biography, helps keep Meg's feet firmly on the ground. But with Johnny's piercing green eyes and a body Brad Pitt would kill for, how long will it be before she's swept right off them again?

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it

I am 100% huge huge fan of Paige Toon's Books, I have now read every single book by her for now and cannot wait for more of her reads.
Now I know Johnny be good has been out a while but I only recently managed to buy it when I met Paige in person at her recent book signing in Manchester, I even managed to get the new book cover hehe, It is truly gorgeous cover and I couldn't wait to dive straight in this book.

So we meet Meg Stiles who is about to become Personal Assistant to one of the biggest rock stars in the world...Johnny Jefferson, a bad boy who thinks he's very cool but also a true womaniser. Meg moves to Los Angeles to live in his house, Can she tame the wild boy that he is or is he going to be too hard to control? Only time will tell..

I adored this so so so much! I am shocked that I never got to read it before now, Johnny Jefferson is such a playboy rock star and some of the things he says or does had me giggling because he knows he could just get away with it. I loved Meg Stiles, she is truly an amazing main character in this book with her being PA to Johnny and having to read his fan mail, to booking places for him and even accompanying him to special events.
Meg is clearly a down to earth girl who is very friendly and certainly does not fancy Jefferson as she had to keep telling all her friends and family..them not being too convinced... Meg clearly has balls and won't put up with Jefferson's drunken slob state and certainly not his drug phase either.

I loved meeting Christian too in this book, he being an old childhood friend of Johnny's who's a journalist/writer and is currently writing Johnny's biography..he such a calm person and him & Meg are such two peas in a pod which was so cute, because you know they were going to grow so close...however I was rooting for Johnny & Meg all the time...! hehe.
Paige writes in such a way you can easily warm to all the characters and the chapters flow so easy. Johnny be good is surely an terrific read in which I soon grabbed Baby be mine right after wards hehe! A twist at the end....Paige you little devil hehe!
For big fans of Paige Toon will have already probs read this, but for any of my readers who haven't found Paige Toon's books..then don't hesitate to go buy this..because you are going to love it...Trust me!

Book Review: Vivien's Heavenly Ice Cream Shop by Abby Clements

Title: Vivien's Heavenly Ice Cream Shop
Author: Abby Clements
Publisher: Quercus
Publication Date: 6th June 2013

When Imogen and Anna unexpectedly inherit their grandmother Vivien's ice cream parlour, it turns both their lives upside down. The Brighton shop is a seafront institution, but though it's big on retro charm it's critically low on customers. If the sisters don't turn things around quickly, their grandmother's legacy will disappear forever.

With summer fast approaching, Imogen and Anna devise a plan. Rather than sell up, they will train up, and make the parlour the newest destination on the South Coast foodie map.

While Imogen watches the shop and conjures new marketing ideas, her sister flies to Italy to attend a gourmet ice cream-making course. But can their best-laid plans survive their warring family, tempestuous love lives - and the great British Weather? One thing is for certain - this summer will be like no other . . .

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it

Abby Clements is a truly tremendous author and I loved her first book Meet me under the Mistletoe so I knew she could easily top it with something more excellent!
Who would not want to love this book? Ice Cream? Italy? Hot Men? a True chick-lit book for sure! The cover can easily attract anyone's eyes when it's on a shelf, It's very girly, Pink and Pictures of Ice cream..Yum Yum.

So we meet Imogen & Anna sister's who inherit their grandmother's Vivien's ice cream parlour which shakes both of their lives completely. They have to pull together as a team to make Vivien's ice cream parlour back to life but with their own twist...can they do it?

This book is truly amazing, I finished it while on my 7 hour journey home from my holiday, it is superb and very fast pacing and always plenty going on in each chapter. I truly loved reading about the sisters, I have to say I feel like I could relate myself to Imogen more than Anna, Imogen came across as the care free girl who loves travelling and doesn't like to be in the same place for long. Anna comes across as the caring sister who takes things to heart and quite a family woman.

I loved all the characters in the book, especially the hottie surfer Finn ;), Abby You did good girl!! I loved being able to follow the sister's work as they refurbish the ice cream parlour back to it's glorious bright days and get the customers back in.
I don't want to give too much away about the story because I feel you should cherish the story yourself..Just a warning..You may be craving a yummy ice cream by the end.
A must read that you will need on your holidays this year!

Book Review: The Loveliest Chocolate Shop In Paris by Jenny Colgan

Title: The Loveliest Chocolate Shop In Paris
Author: Jenny Colgan
Publisher: Sphere
Publication Date: March 2013

Life is sweet in this heartwarming tale of a little chocolate shop in Paris, by the bestselling author of Welcome to Rosie Hopkins' Sweetshop of Dreams and Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe.

Mouth-watering recipes inside!

As dawn breaks over the Pont Neuf, and the cobbled alleyways of Paris come to life, Anna Trent is already awake and at work; mixing and stirring the finest, smoothest, richest chocolate; made entirely by hand, it is sold to the grandes dames of Paris.
It's a huge shift from the chocolate factory she worked in at home in the north of England. But when an accident changed everything, Anna was thrown back in touch with her French teacher, Claire, who offered her the chance of a lifetime - to work in Paris with her former sweetheart, Thierry, a master chocolatier.
With old wounds about to be uncovered and healed, Anna is set to discover more about real chocolate - and herself - than she ever dreamed.

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it

I am such a huge fan of Jenny Colgan's book, they are always so good, tempting and have brilliant recipes of either cakes, sweets or even chocolate now! Her books always stand out on shelves, you always know a Jenny Colgan book, they are just superb!

The Loveliest Chocolate Shop In Paris was a fabulous book with two of my favourite things ever Chocolate and Paris, Love them both very much. We meet Anna Trent who works in a chocolate factory in England until she has an accident  and loses some toes...Yes bit gross I know! but while being in hospital recovering, she meets her old french teacher Claire who is currently battling Cancer. They strike up conversations and a lovely friendship better than when it was teacher & pupil. Claire soon encourages Anna to follow her dream and learn how to make proper smooth chocolate in France with Thierry, Claire's old flame and a famous chocolatier in Paris.

It is a wonderful book! a best for chocoholic's &  for people who love Paris like myself. I love reading about Anna's adventure's while in Paris, having to put up with the stubborn Laurent. I loved how Anna got to make chocolate with Thierry, although two of his workers weren't so nice to begin with but soon changed their minds eventually.

I did think the choice of Anna's injury was a bit weird but the story line was just amazing, you can easily picture the chocolate shop in Paris in your mind and how you can imagine drooling outside the shop seeing the chocolate..
I loved how you flicked between Anna  and Claire, it was sweet because you got to read how Claire & Thierry's relationship blossomed but came crashing down until they get to meet for one last time.
This book is certainly one to treasure and the best part is Jenny put some chocolate recipes in the back of the book, boy do they get my mouth watering..may have to try a couple of the recipes myself!

For huge fan's of Jenny Colgan's book are certainly going to love this book just like all her other ones. I cannot wait for her next one already!

Tess Brookes has always been a Girl with a Plan. But when her carefully constructed Plan goes belly up, she’s forced to reconsider.
After accidently answering her flatmate Vanessa’s phone, she decides that since being Tess isn’t going so well, why shouldn’t she try out being Vanessa? With nothing left to lose, she accepts Vanessa’s photography assignment to Hawaii – she used to be an amateur snapper, how hard can it be? Right?
But Tess is soon in big trouble – she isn’t a photographer, she isn’t Vanessa, and the gorgeous journalist on the shoot with her, who is making it very clear he’d like to get into her pants, is an egotistical monster.
Far from home and in someone else’s shoes, Tess must decide whether to fight on through, or ‘fess up and run…

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it

I am such a huge fan of Lindsey Kelk's books, She is a truly fab author. About a Girl is a new book series with a totally new character called Tess Brookes, she's not having a great life when you start the book, she's lost her job, lost the love of her life, her mum and best friend aren't especially speaking to her, what can she do? She answers her flatmate Vanessa's phone one morning and is soon pretending to be Vanessa being in her shoes as a professional photographer...can her plan succeed? Time will tell...

First of this book will stand out on any book shelve in supermarkets, It is so girly and so brightly coloured, you just cannot resist picking it up to read the blurb and then buying hehe!! An amazing summer read 2013 for sure! Lindsey certainly knows how to come back on book shelves again!!

This book was superb, I loved reading every minute of it, I was chuckling along reading about Tess and her screwed up life, she is your typical plain Jane kinda Girl which I loved reading about because you can easily warm to her and even by the end of the book you feel like she is your best friend and you've been travelling the journey with her.

Hawaii sounded so perfect to go on holiday, I wish I could jump on a plane and head there right now! Lindsey picked a perfect location for her book and I cannot wait to see what other locations she chooses next for her series.
I cannot wait to follow on more in this series, I am sure its going to be a big hit and there will be plenty more laughter and shenanigans again!
I urge you all to go grab About a Girl right now! Its one not to be missed this summer I promise!!

Fiction Addiction Book Tour: Need:want#2 by Stephanie Lawton

Title: Need:Want#2
Author: Stephanie Lawton

Isaac Laroche is cursed. All he wants to do is hide out and feel sorry for himself. Never mind that he got caught sleeping with his seventeen-year-old piano student, or that he abandoned her when the truth was exposed.

Isaac’s feisty high school sweetheart has different plans. Heather Swann has returned to their hometown of Mobile, Alabama, to regroup after breaking up with her troll of a fiancé. She’s restless and looking for a diversion, but she bites off more than she can chew when she sets her sights on rehabilitating Isaac with her unorthodox sexual, mental, and physical plans.

The two quickly reconnect, but their happiness is threatened by family secrets, old vendettas and the death of a beloved father-figure.

Can Heather handle Isaac’s baggage, or will her own come back to haunt them both?

didn't like it didn't like it didn't like it

I was asked by Sharon from Fiction Addiction Book Tour to review Stephanie Lawton's Need Want#2. I had read Want first which was Julianne's side of the story which was quite deep and dark but still had a good story. Need want#2 is Isaac Laroche's side of the story.

We start with Issac meeting Heather his past school sweetheart who's mum stopped them from seeing each other and taking Isaac to court for rape but he was seventeen and Heather had been fifteen.
Isaac was a famous piano teacher in which you read from Julianne's story that he teaches her how to play but they end up forming some sort of love between them but he ends up running away and breaks her heart in which she runs to his best friend Dave.

So follow on in Isaac's story he is currently friends with Heather but does want Julianne to forgive him so he rings her but she isn't so forthcoming. It is a good read with plenty of things going on. At some points I felt it did drag on as in his story but it was good to see that Isaac got his happy ending after all.

I would read more of Stephanie Lawton's books in the future and I would recommend to everyone. For fans of stories of lost love and hurt then this book will be for you. I do recommend that you read Want first though to fully understand.
