  1. it would be The All Souls Trilogy- because it's romantic, suspenseful, adventurous, magical, and incredibly enjoyable!

  2. Mine would be 'Where Rainbows End' - Cecilia Ahern. I read this cover to cover in two days and really got me back into reading, which is amazing. I really felt for the storyline and the characters. It's my favourite book and I just love it. But technically cheating it's being made into the film Love, Rosie next year. Very excited!!!!

  3. The Kashmir Shawl by Rosie Thomas.

  4. 'The Stainless Steel Rat' by Harry Harrison - because I've waited for 30 years for it to get made, since I first read it aged 10, and I reckon Christian Bale should play Slippery Jim DiGriz :)

  5. A Weekend with Mr Darcey. A well written book with both instantly fall in love characters and characters you instantly dislike. Set in a beautiful house with beautiful scenery around.

  6. It would have to be Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. The feelings it evoked in me remain with me today. The heartache, the little triumphs, the friendships, the tragedy, the loss, the love. It was a difficult subject to write about but Jojo did it brilliantly.

  7. I'm the biggest hater of film adaptations. I cannot deal with the way they change and alter the storyline and omit or add in new characters. So I would find it hard to see one of my favourite books turned into a film because it would ruin the image I had in my head of the characters and the settings etc.
However, if I had to choose one book I would definitely go for a chick-lit. I think it would be Cupcakes At Carringtons; it could be an incredible film!

  9. I would love to see The Irresistible Blueberry Bakeshop and Cafe made into a film. I think the combination of a fantastic storyline along with beautiful scenery (and a gorgeous male lead) would make the perfect combination for a film we would all curl up infront of on a lazy Sunday afternoon

  10. Since I am a huge Paige Toon fan I would love to see all her books as movies....but especially "Lucy in the sky" since it all started with this book. I really hope this becomes reality some time!!!

Thanks by the way for everything that you are doin my lovely!

    HAPPY BLOG ANNIVERSARY!!!

  11. A winter flame by Milly Johnson. Whilst I was reading it I was casting the film in my head and it was one of the most image vivid books I've read. I really could imagine myself there- and would love to lose myself in the film- especially if they'd let me cast Jacques.
