How do you hold on to a love that is slowly slipping away from you? Can you let go of the past when you know what is in the future? And how do you cope when you know that every kiss is a countdown to goodbye?

This is the story of a love affair, of Ryan and Molly and how they fell in love and were torn apart. The first time Molly kissed Ryan, she knew they'd be together forever. Six years and thousands of kisses later she's married to the man she loves. But today, when Ryan kisses her, Molly realises how many of them she wasted because the future holds something which neither of them could have ever predicted. . .

Now I don't want to give away what does happen which is I know the point of a review, However I want any reader who does read this to treasure and cherish every chapter and page of this book because it is a superb read! We follow the lives of Molly Carter and Ryan Cooper first loves and broken hearts. We follow each page of diary and blog entries, from when they first met to when they are happily together.

The First Last Kiss is an amazing and very emotional read even by the last page I was blubbering but also happy too. This book is definitely in the category for best emotional read in 2013.
I just urge everyone must read, I had never heard of Ali Harris before until publishers had sent me her book and I just think Ali is a wonderful writer and knows how to keep you hooked with every page in her books.

The cover of TFLK was ever so beautiful and very girly just tempting you on them shelves for you all to buy.
With this book it will also make you want to treasure life because sometimes people you love can be taken away from you ever so suddenly. YOLO!

Definitely a book I am not going to forget in a hurry....

Kimberley Young is publishing director of Women’s Fiction at HarperCollins.  Kim has over ten years of experience in editing commercial women’s fiction. She has a soft spot for rom coms and is currently obsessed with new adult and short reads.   Kim simply can’t pick her one favourite romance hero of all time, as there are too many good ones to choose from. Instead she has a new flavour each and every month.  So, today her pick is Deacon Claybourne from the new series Nashville. Why? He’s brooding, plays the guitar and only loves one woman...

Katie Sadler is the digital marketing manager at HarperFiction and is deeply attached to her Smartphone/laptop/iPad/wherever she can get on to the Internet. She loves reading anything and everything, particularly crime and fantasy when there’s a really good hero. Her favourite ever romantic hero is Westley from the Princess Bride, but only when he stops being the sappy farm boy and turns into the Dread Pirate Roberts.  She’s on the other end of @HarperImpulse, so send her a tweet and say hello!

Richard Parfitt started in publishing in 2000, and after a brief side step into the world of television, now works at HarperCollins in Technology and gets himself involved in all sorts of projects and plans across the business. His absolute favourite project is Harper Impulse and since getting involved has found himself rabidly reading all manner of romance fiction!
A geek at heart, his natural preference is for SF and fantasy themed romance, so is looking forward to reading any submissions about cross dressing sex bots in space.

Charlotte Ledger began working in publishing in 2011 and has always been a book lover but, since watching her first episode of Dawson’s Creek when she was 13, she’s found it impossible to resist a good love story! Pacey Witter stole her heart and her life it seems as her addiction for all things romance eventually led to her working at Mills & Boon. Thrilled to be at Harper Impulse, she can’t wait to fall in love with your submissions and find the next exciting new voices in Romance. So what are you waiting for? The inbox is open! A Cottage By The Sea By Carole Matthews

Title: A Cottage By The Sea
Author: Carole Matthews
Publisher: Sphere
Paperback Publication Date: 28th March 2013
Source: The Lovely Jo Wickham from Little Brown

Grace has been best friends with Ella and Flick since university. The late-night chats, shared heartaches and good times have created a bond that has stood the test of time. Now in their thirties, Grace is always a bit disappointed about how little time they get to spend together, so when Ella invites them all to stay for a week in her cottage in South Wales, Grace jumps at the chance to see her old friends. She also hopes that the change in pace will help her reconnect with her husband, Harry.

Unfortunately for her, Harry isn't enamoured with Cwtch Cottage as she is. Then Flick arrives; loveable, bubbly Flick, accompanied by the handsome and charming Noah, and suddenly the week ahead looks as though it may be even more confusing for all the residents of Cwtch Cottage.

Now I've always been a big fan of Carole Matthews books and I especially loved her Christmas book With Love at Christmas last year so when found out Carole was bringing a new book out I just couldn't wait to grab my copy hehe, Luckily Jo Wickham from Little Brown sent me a copy out early.

I knew when I got my copy of A Cottage By The Sea that I was going to enjoy it so much, give me laughter and tears but also gear me up for the summer, Boy I wasn't wrong either, The cover looked ever so beautiful as well, looked very summery.

So we meet three best friends since Uni Grace, Ella and Flick, as they grow up they don't seem to see each other that much so when Ella suggests they all come to stay with her in the little cottage, they all jump at the chance. Grace comes with her husband Harry, hoping to reconnect while they are away, but will Grace get her wish? or will Harry just carry on fiddling with his mobile? Ella has the rockstar husband Art who doesn't want to settle down and have kids just yet but Ella does. Will she get her wish and have a child? And then we have Flick who arrives with a handsome fella Noah who woos the ladies with his charm and Flick wants to prove to the ladies she can commit to a guy, will it happen?
The ever so charming Noah first meets Grace down at the beach, where he comments on how beautiful the beach is and then Swoon it's soon love at first sight, But will Grace fight for her husband? or chose Noah?

I just loved everything about this book, it was totally amazing, I couldn't put the book down I was so engrossed in the characters and how they all interacted so well with each other. I would have to say my favourite character would be Grace, at some points in the book I did feel a little sorry for her and how her husband treated her at times as well but she is such a strong and independent woman who will do anything for her closest and dearest friends when they need her the most.

A Cottage by the Sea is definitely a book you will be taking away with you on holiday this year, it is a jolly read with plenty of laughter but also a few little tears a long the way also with lots of emotion of friendships. It is a roller coaster of a book but will leave you with like a breathe of fresh air and also wanting your own little cottage down by the sea. Tehe :)

Carole Matthews you are a wonderful author and I love your books time and time again, I just can't get enough of them, Your books always have me laughing and always telling friends about your books and how brilliant they are! I already have your next book on Pre-order already tehe!
